Hot off the heels of a successful event at Salons by JC Towson, the SalonCentric Airstream rolled into South Carolina with an interactive event at Salons by JC Spartanburg.
Salon Owners Eric Bennett and Dagney Helms, along with their spectacular Concierge Megan, hosted the second Salons by JC and SalonCentric Airstream “Glam on the Go” event.
“The event was great, I really enjoyed working with SalonCentric – their entire team is so helpful,” Salons by JC Spartanburg owner Dagney Helms shares.
Although a strong thunderstorm threatened to rain down on the event, dozens turned out to partake in the Airstream and learn more about the Salons by JC and SalonCentric partnership. “Despite the rain, the Airstream event was a success!,” described Salon Business Coach Jo-Lynn Greenman, who was also in attendance.
SalonCentric Airstream in Spartanburg
In conjunction with SalonCentric, Salons by JC Spartanburg sponsored large giveaway baskets for both salon suite owners and attendees of the event. The Airstream provided opportunities for salon suite owners to get specific product and brand knowledge of what is offered at SalonCentric.
“All of our salon suite owners enjoyed learning about products SalonCentric offers and their team was great at answering all of their questions,” Dagney stated.
“Everyone had great ideas to help grow each other’s business both in and out of the salon,” Concierge, Megan Warren exclaimed.
Nestled inside the Hillcrest Shopping Center, the Airstream provided an excellent networking opportunity for other local businesses in the shopping center to learn about the many services provided by Salons by JC. Attendees got a first-hand view of what sets the Spartanburg location apart from other salons in the area.
“Other businesses came out and supported us. Our big thing was being able to connect with the community, have some fun, and really getting to know the other businesses in our community,” Dagney shared.
A Community Effort
The event also helped establish an even greater connection with the SalonCentric in Spartanburg. Their team of specialists provided a great deal of support to ensure the success of the event.
“SalonCentric was amazing! They helped us provide promotional items for the event and provided beautiful goodie bags for all attendees of the event, so there was plenty to go around,” concierge Megan stated.
Salon owner Dagney gushed about Megan’s role in planning the event and facilitating all contacts, saying “Megan planned the whole event and communicated with everyone at SalonCentric, we couldn’t be more thankful for her!”
As owners, Dagney and Eric recognized the importance of attending the event to provide a unique perspective of Salons by JC to those new to the concept. “It’s really good as an owner to go out and be a part of the experience. It’s great to interact with both salon suite owners and their clients and even those new to Salons by JC,” Dagney shared.
SalonCentric Rolls On Ahead
The dynamic partnership between Salons by JC and SalonCentric continues with two more Airstream events this year – and more to come in 2019.
“It is exciting to have such an enthusiastic partner in SalonCentric who is flexible with our increase in Airstream demands from other locations,” Franchise and Corporate Marketing Coordinator Marlene Romo Flores shares.
The next scheduled Airstream event is Friday, November 16th at Salons by JC Carmel Park in Charlotte, NC followed by a stop at Salons by JC Mobile on Monday, December 3rd. Flores mentions there is “plenty more to come in 2019” from the “Glam on the Go”.
Eric, Dagney, and Megan all look forward to more events with their local SalonCentric, as well as potentially hosting a second Airstream event.
“We would love to partner up with SalonCentric again in the future. They are an amazing company to work with!,” exclaimed Megan.
About Salons by JC: In 1997, Jack Griffey and Cecil Miller began their journey to transform the beauty industry one salon suite at a time. Like most young entrepreneurs, they started out with a big idea but had to learn how to start and run a business from scratch. After much perseverance and hard work, one year later, they opened Salons by JC in Dallas, TX in 1998, welcoming beauty and wellness specialists who were ready to break free from the traditional salon model. The company has since moved its headquarters from Dallas to San Antonio, where it continues to grow through franchising. Today, Salons by JC has over 90 locations in 26 states and Canada.
