I’m Michelle, the Hair M.D. My goal is to provide a first-class barber shop experience where grooming is a treat rather than a chore. One can expect more than just a haircut or a shave. With a decade and a half experience working in a barbershop setting, the Hair M.D. knows how to prescribe the best hair medicine. I started my cosmetology career early 2008 in Charlotte, NC. Previously, I had been in the telecom world, working tireless hours in an office where I felt trapped. I looked at the far away windows and couldn’t help but wonder why I was wasting away in a setting that wasn’t bringing the best out of me. I decided to further my education. Upon earning my cosmetology license, I worked in a few different salons while gaining experience. The spot where my passion hit the mark was a bar & barbershop in Huntersville, the Kilted Buffalo. This is where my love of men’s grooming came alive. I furthered my career with Sport Clips, which allowed me to grow immensely. Earned my mark as a master of fades, beard detailing and short cuts. My passion continues as I grow The Hair M.D.. I look forward to having you join me on this journey as my story continues.
