With over 20 years of experience, Robyn and Laura are proud to announce their new salon,
PHILIP JAMES SALON. They are located in suite #10 inside Salons by JC at the Promenade
Bolingbrook.
Robyn is a Master Colorist and offers the latest in today’s trends, cuts and color. She has
perfected her cutting edge color techniques and works with a vast selection of Wella Hair
products. She specializes in Balayage, color melting, highlights, high to low maintenance
transformations, single process, GK hair therapy and hair restoration.
Laura is a Master Stylist and former educator. Her creative talents includes a wide range of
hair cutting techniques that keeps her on the forefront of all the latest cuts and styles for her
clients. Mizani relaxer, GK hair therapy, special occasion up do’s, blowouts and bridal wedding
parties are additional services offered by Laura.
For many years they worked as a successful team under a corporate umbrella. Robyn and
Laura wanted to give their guests the best care in a private and professional setting. “Once we
made our decision to start our own business, our vision for the future became clear.”
PHILIP JAMES SALON was named after two very important men in their lives. PHILIP is
Laura’s father and JAMES is Robyn’s grandfather who inspired them during their lives. “It only
seemed right that the salon be named after these two wonderful men in special honor to them
both for the love and support they had given to us through the years.”

them all the right amenities and support to get started. “It is very important that we create an
environment of the highest quality and service to each client that comes into our salon.”
