Conquering Your Passions, One Lash at a Time

Oct 23, 2018

The beauty industry is a culmination of two things: being classy and feeling fabulous. At Salons by JC Hollywood, you’ll find both class and fabulosity at Jade Wiltshire’s Fabulash Beauty and Wax Spa.

A Woman of Many Trades

Before Jade began her entrepreneurial journey in the beauty industry, she was on top of her game in other endeavors. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, she was a police dispatcher for the Miami-Dade Police Department for almost 10 years. She has also owned two liquor stores and even opened a preschool. After selling her second liquor store in 2015, Jade was introduced into the world of lashes.

“I had no idea lash extensions were so big! While I was learning how to perfect my craft, I had to become a licensed Esthetician. I had a few girls that were clients that asked me to train them on how to apply the extensions, which led me to start my own training classes, which is truly a passion for me!” Jade shares. “I love seeing my students works after they have taken my class. It always makes me proud when they actually get it and start their own careers.”

Jade Has Taught Many Estheticians on Lash Extensions

In addition to the Fabulash Beauty and Wax Spa’s five-star full lash services, Jade has also added Full Body European Waxing to her business as well!

“Waxing is something I absolutely love doing. I can do waxing’s all day!” she says.

A Future as Bright as Hollywood

Having her own suite at Salons by JC Hollywood for the last two years has been a luxurious experience for Jade and her clients.

“I’ve felt at home at Salons by JC from day one,” Jade gushes. “Peter, Cyndi, and April are the absolute best! Every single one of my needs has been accommodated here and I wouldn’t trade it for anything! I greatly appreciate that here, my clients can feel safe. It’s just the perfect place for my business!”

Jade, being the diverse and ambitious woman that she is, has a few future goals in mind for her career in the beauty industry that include making her own custom wigs, as well as continuing her passion for educating others that are looking to learn how to apply lashes.

“I have been doing a lot of research on finding a hair vendor with top-notch, quality hair that can be custom colored without damaging the hair,” says Jade. “This project is something that is definitely in the works for me. I would also love to travel to the islands to teach and train lash extensions there as well.”

Passion is Key

Passion is the energy that keeps us going. It keeps us filled with meaning, happiness, excitement, and anticipation, especially when it comes to the beauty of other people. This passion motivates Jade to provide her clients with the utmost confidence by the time they walk out of her door.

High-End Lash Extensions on a Happy Client

“The most rewarding part of what I do is transitioning my clients from the time they lay down to waking up looking absolutely stunning. Lash extensions are such a beauty enhancement and very addicting. My clients walk out happy and feeling gorgeous and that makes me smile!”

Great work Jade! Salons by JC wishes you continued success in all your current and future endeavors.

About Salons by JC: In 1997, Jack Griffey and Cecil Miller began their journey to transform the beauty industry one salon suite at a time. Like most young entrepreneurs, they started out with a big idea but had to learn how to start and run a business from scratch. After much perseverance and hard work, one year later, they opened Salons by JC in Dallas, TX in 1998, welcoming beauty and wellness specialists who were ready to break free from the traditional salon model. The company has since moved its headquarters from Dallas to San Antonio, where it continues to grow through franchising. Today, Salons by JC has over 90 locations in 26 states and Canada.
